World Description
"A summer-themed island conjoined with memories of previous events. Many recall visiting past memories (and ores) here, while finding new ores all the same."
Introduction
Aesteria is a seasonal world introduced in part one of the 2024 Summer Event and can be accessed by entering the Sun Portal found in World 1 or through the main menu. It comprises 11 layers; 7 containing ores rerun from previous events: Spookstone (HE2022), Frost (WE2022), Affement (VE2023), Withered Sand (HE2023), Hexafite (HE2023), Deepfrost (WE2023), Jollystone (WE2023); 2 new summer-themed layers: Maculite, Surmilum, and 2 new halloween-themed layers: Sugarstone, Delucemite; and 5 new cave types (alongside Gilded Caves); with 305 ores in total. It also contains 16 events, most of which are new.
History
- Aesteria was added to the game on the 2024 Summer Event release, initially rerunning previous event ores and gears. Some old events were bolstered with new ores and gears to complete each layer.
- Part 2 of the 2024 Summer Event added the Maculite and Surmilum layers to the world along with a new gear called the Paradise Parasol. Ores made by Maxis_s were removed and replaced, Many ores outside of Aesteria were revamped and four pickaxe skins were released.
- On August 15th 2024, it was announced that the limited-time seasonal event concept would no longer be part of the game, making Aesteria a permanent world. Ores inside of the world will now always be able to be found. Aesteria was later rebranded as a Seasonal World rather than SE24.
- The 2024 Halloween Update brought 2 new layers with 62 new ores to Aesteria. 3 new gears were also introduced, those being Sugarcoated Candycrusher, Frost Neutralizer, and TYPESHIFTER.
- 2 new ores, UNFUN and Celestival were added shortly afterwards.
- On November 30th 2024, 6 new Cave Exclusives were added to Aesteria to populate its existing caves. Half of these ores were originally rejected from the 2024 Halloween Update due to layer size constraints.
- On November 2nd 2025, the Aesteria Watering Update added 58 new ores to fill existing layers, with 13 of them being Exotic+. Some of these ores came from the contest for the 2025 Halloween Update; the ores passed but didn't go into Lucernia.
