The Darkmatter Layer is the fifth layer in World 2's mine, spanning from 4000m – 4999m. It has 24 ores, two ores from past events, one limited time ore and one removed ore. The Darkmatter Layer is themed around space and galaxies, with many of its ores representing various astronomical objects. Some notable ores found in this layer include Circeterra, Icarus, Gravitaticor, and Quasar 618. Certain pickaxes and gears themed around space, such as the Celestial Smasher and the Subspace Tripmine, primarily require ores found in this layer.
