Introduction[]
Isolyte is an Enigmatic tier ore made by nWraith. It is a transformation-exclusive ore obtainable in Subworld 1. It currently cannot be obtained in ionized and spectral form. It currently has no use in the game.

Isolyte was added to the Rocc Layer on April 1st, 2025, having a 1 in 50,000,000 chance of spawning. Isolyte was removed from the mines when The Rewrite™ update released, but its transformation was only added a day after the update.

- The first person to find a spectral Isolyte was DefoNotBluu.
Trivia[]
- Isolyte is a direct reference to the voxel of the same name from another mining game called Voxel Venture.
- In Voxel Venture, Isolyte spawns between 9,000 and 10,000 meters at a rate of 0.2ppm or 1 in 5,000,000, making it one of the rarest voxels in the game. This is where its rarity in REx comes from (with an extra zero).
- Isolyte, when it was able to be found in the Rocc Layer, was tied with Lunar Ω for being the most common Enigmatic-tier ore in the game.
