Introduction[]
The Suncindium Flashbang is a tier 5 explosive Gear found in World 1. It explodes a 4x4x4 area of blocks, turning the player's screen white for a few seconds. Explosions have a 30% luck boost.
The flashing from this gear can be disabled by turning off screen VFX, completely nullifying its downside.
This gear is one of five that grants a 5% luck boost when held during the Lucidium Event in World 1, with the others being Luminatite Lantern, Candilium Candle, Flashlight, and Accretium Fireball.
History[]
The Suncindium Flashbang was added to the game in Part 1 of the Gear Update in World 1. When The Rebalance™ update released, Suncindium Flashbang received a recipe change, a nerf to its proc rate, going from 1/40 to 1/65, a change in the throw velocity, and a buff to the radius of the Flashbang ability, going from 12 to 21 blocks. A new feature was added to the ability where if the player manages to miss the flashbang, the radius increases to 29 blocks.
Note: The radius of the flashbang's flash effect is 11 blocks.
