Introduction[]
The Inktorb is a tier 7 explosive gear found in World 1. It explodes a 15 stud radius area in an Ink Vortex and has a 1 in 10 chance to release recursive explosions (similar to the Matterbomb) with a
13 stud radius after the main explosion. These explosions stain the affected blocks black. The Inktorb works on a charge system, with a chance to gain 4-7 Ink Explosion charges if none are left and a chance to gain one Ink Explosion charge if charges are still left.
The Inktorb has a base luck of x1.3, but gains a luck boost during certain events that relate to darkness. Without ideal events, it is relatively weak compared to other gears of its tier. This makes it situational, albeit powerful, when the correct events are active. Use of the Lucidium Locator can help make The Inktorb applicable more often.
The following events boost The Inktorb's luck for their durations:

Trivia[]
- There is a possibility that the word "Inktorb" is a combination of the words "Inktite" and "Orb".
- The Inktorb retains the look of Inkonium's old design.
- Prior to the release of World 2, this had a base luck boost of
x2, which increased up to a whopping
x3 depending on the event, in a similar formula to current inktorb.
- During this same time period, The Inktorb had a special passive effect which negated the downside of Sentient Viscera's secondary event effect. This passive, along with the downsides from this event, have all since been removed.
- On release of World 2, this gear was initially nerfed to a base luck of
x1.25, with it being buffed to
x1.3 in an update 2 months later. This was eventually buffed to the current gear's base luck boost in the Subworld 1 Revamp.
